June 2012

June has come and gone. Here are some things that happened. C is getting bigger and getting more of a personality.

Summer heat brings summer water fun.

Luci had a conference in Heber, so me and the boys as some time to spend up there.  One place we went and visited the UTAH Wing of the Commemorative Air Force Museum. It was a pretty cool place to visit.
Later in the month, my brother and his family came and visited.  We went to the Cleveland Loyd Dinosaur Quarry.

We on a hike at the quarry; it really didn't lead us anywhere.
That same weekend was the San Rafael Summerfest in Castle Dale.  Highlights included chicken and pig chases, mutton bustin' and other entertaining competitions.

Jorgen also celebrated his birthday.  His big present was a new bicycle.

Jorgen and Zander were also in a T-ball league.  They had a good time and are ready for machine pitch next year!

Towards the end of June, we meet some of Luci's family at Palisade's State Park.

May 2012

Jorgen wanted a picture with a mohawk, so here it is.

Collin is getting bigger and bigger.  I'm not sure who he looks more like, Zander or Jorgen.

May also brought Collin's blessing day.  This was our family picture after that.

We had a BBQ afterwards for some family and friends.  This is us keeping the kids busy!

My parents came out from Colorado, so we had to show them some of the sights of Emery County.  Of course most of the sights included the San Rafael Swell.  That includes Goblin Valley State Park.  We had a fun day (not just because I took school) hanging out with the parentals.

May signals the end of the school year for us.  Yipee!! This is Jorgen's kindergarten program that they worked on.  This is part of a silly dance that they did.

For memorial day we went and road Thomas at the Heber Valley Railroad.  Zander had a great time, but Jorgen thought that it was boring.  I actually side with Jorgen.  It was a short 25 minute train ride and we only got about 5-10 miles from the station.  It was even all straight, no curves.   Although slight more expensive, I liked the Easter Beagle Express on the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad much better!

We also went to the Living Planet Aquarium.  This time is was much less busy and much more fun.  The otters were out, don't look to close at the otter.  He happened to take care of some business while we posed for a picture.  Touching the stingrays were lots of fun too!  We also got the Pass of all Passes from Seven Peaks and did some of that too over the long weekend.  It was lots of fun.  The best part is that we bought the pass for only $10!  We got lucky on a good deal!

I think Zander likes the car seat more than Collin!

April 2012

April brought Grandma's birthday and a handful of troublemakers to celebrate it with.

Easter came and gone, but not before we went to the Castle Dale City Easter Egg hunt.

The boys all dressed up ready to go to church.  Jorgen and Zander do love their new little brother!

Zander always have to put on things.  This is one cool ensemble.

For kindergarten, Jorgen did a report on Hammerhead sharks.  I even learned something new about them!

March 2012

Luci was due this month so she wanted some pictures with the boys, while she was pregnant.

We were scheduled to have Luci induced on Monday the 12th, so we decided that we would go up state for the weekend.  We thought that we go have dinner and watch a movie while my sister-in-law and brother-in-law would watch our two boys.  We would then have a relaxing Sunday and then go to Utah Valley Regional medical center on Monday morning.  Well, on the way up, Luci started have contractions.  Instead of a date, We dropped our kids off and went straight to the hospital. So much for a date and relaxing weekend!

That night Collin was born!

Our first family picture with Collin.
